Sepsiszentgyörgy will be the scene of an intimate memorial during the period 9-15 March. Memorial celebrations will take place on several sites of the city with the occasion of the 164th anniversary of the 1848-1849 Revolution.

The program includes various events: festive concert with the performance of the Georgius and Csíkikamara orchestra in the Tamási Áron Theatre; memorial running in the tribute of the 1848-1849 Revolution and wreathing at the 1848 revolutionary monuments in all the settlements the memorial running touches upon; ceremonial worship in the Reformed church; decorating all the 1848 revolutionary monuments from Sepsiszentgyörgy with wreaths; ceremonial program on the 15th of March in the memory of the 1848-1849 Revolution at the stage set up in front of the Tamási Áron Theatre.
